2023 Lexus RX

As the first-ever luxury crossover SUV, the RX always has a high place within the Lexus line-up. Now, the automaker has renewed its popular SUV for the 2023 model. Here’s what we know about the all-new 2023 Lexus RX so far.

Gorgeous Exterior, Enticing Interior

Looking at the 2023 RX, the first thing coming to mind is the distinctive Lexus design language on exterior. Thanks to a perfect combination of the trademark spindle grille with new high-end headlights, the RX up-front design is impressively evolved. Moreover, the contiguous blade-shape LED tail lights, as well as Lexus’s new badging, show off the rear view. These details, along with a flawlessly shaped body, showcase the new Lexus design direction for its next-generation vehicles.

The 2023 RX’s enticing interior is meant to be as sleek and attentive as possible. Drivers can access controls as easily as it gets while enjoying an ergonomic steering wheel. Details such as stylish door trim options, optional multi-colored illumination accents, luscious seating, as well the panoramic roof make the 2023 Lexus RX interior more inviting.

Top-notch Safety Features

Lexus has considered the effective Lexus Safety System 3.0 for the 2023 RX. Its superior technology benefits Lexus drivers with practical features like pre-collision and intersection support, which can extend auto brake possibilities to handle intersection situations. It can also slow down the vehicle when detecting pedestrians in its path.

Additionally, the 2023 Lexus RX is equipped with a safe exit assist, preventing drivers or passengers from opening their doors onto passing vehicles or cyclists, enhancing its safety attributes.

Trim Levels

The 2023 Lexus RX will be introduced in five trims: RX 350, RX 450h+, RX 350h, and RX 500h F SPORT Performance. All trims will be available with an AWD layout, with the RX F SPORT Performance going even further, armed with the new DIRECT4 AWD drive system.

The new Lexus RX also offers new fuel-efficient power trains. A 275 hp 2.4-liter turbocharged I-4 engine with a maximum torque of 317 lb-ft will serve as the standard RX 350, while the 2.5-liter electrified hybrid powertrain with an output of 246 hp and 233 lb-ft of torque will be available for RX 350h and RX 450h+.

As Lexus remarks, the 2023 RX will arrive in showrooms late 2022. With a starting price tag of $48,000, the 2023 Lexus RX will be a leading luxury crossover SUV within the segment.
