Lexus At Monterey Car Week

When it comes to amazing automotive events, the Monterey Car Week has something for every automotive enthusiast. Whether it’s watching vintage and classic cars driving around the streets of Monterey, walking around to view the cars at Pebble Beach golf fairways for the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, and of course, the classic cars raced at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

Lexus has a special connection to the Monterey Car Week, as this marks their 25th year as a sponsor of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Car companies enjoy displaying special cars in Monterey, and this year was no different. The Lexus display at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, featured the Lexus RZ Sport Concept and the 2024 Lexus LC 500 Inspiration Series.

A Special RZ & LC 500

The RZ Sport Concept is based on the current RZ 450e all-electric vehicle. The Concept car is equipped with higher output 150 kW motors in the front and rear, rides 35 millimeters lower than stock, and features special 21-inch wheels. The body is also slightly tweaked with custom aero parts, and the interior has new bucket seats for both front and rear occupants. 

Three-Rows of Usability

With the debut earlier this year, Lexus also brought the all-new 2024 GX and first-ever 2024 TX to show off to enthusiasts at the event. This is one of the first times both vehicles have been shown in person to the public. 

A Fine Driving Experience

Directly next to the Lexus display was the Lexus Drive Experience. This allows guests a 20-minute drive and to learn more about the amazing vehicles Lexus has to offer. This year they brought the LC 500 Convertible, IS 500, RZ 450e, NX 350h, LX 600, and LS 500h.

For The Kids

At the end of the Event weekend, Lexus gave back to the Monterey County community for the fourth year in a row, supporting the annual Pebble Beach Concours d ‘Elegance Charity via a drawing to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Monterey County. The Prize was a 1-year lease of a 2023 Lexus LC 500 Convertible, a pass to attend the Lexus Performance Driving School for a full day at Laguna Seca, a 2-night stay at the Pebble Beach Resort with a $500 food and beverage credit, plus a free round of golf at the Pebble Beach Golf Links for two with a guest transportation and incidentals voucher for $1,500.
