2023 Lexus RX Hybrid Models
So far, Lexus has given us details on three different hybrid models for the RX line. These include the RX 350h, RX 450H+ and the RX 500H F Sport. If that all sounds gibberish to you, that’s OK. Let’s break down these options a bit.
RX 350h
The 350h model is really your entry into pairing RX performance with an efficient hybrid powertrain. The model is powered by a 2.5-liter engine that puts you in command of a respectable 246 horsepower and 233 lb-ft of torque across the entire system while still managing a combined 36 mpg.
RX 450H+
This model actually brings something new to the RX in the form of plug-in hybrid capability. It’s very much like a normal hybrid except that it can operate in all-electric mode for a short time and has a rechargeable battery. RX 500H F Sport
The RX 500h really brings the ideal blend between power and efficiency. The hybrid powertrain allows you to enjoy 366 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. Even so, you’ll also enjoy the efficiency from the hybrid system thanks to a similarly impressive 28 mpg highway. The vehicle also boasts a 0-50 mph time of 5.9 seconds.
What to Expect From the 2023 Lexus RXh Models
The RX model is all new for 2023 in both gasoline and hybrid configurations. Lexus has slowly been releasing details on what we can expect, and so far, it has us all really excited. RX models are expected to offer the intuitive Lexus Interface, with state-of-the-art voice controls and cloud-based navigation, all accessible through a 14-inch center screen. Of course, luxury abounds as well with interior ambient lighting and a panoramic glass roof.
