What’s new in the 2023 Lexus UXh?

For the 2023 model year, the popular Lexus UX crossover utility vehicle has been refreshed as it receives several upgrades and enhancements. However, perhaps the biggest change in the UX for 2023 and moving forward, is that it will be exclusively hybrid. Its gasoline-powered variants are no more, leaving behind only the Lexus UXh. Powertrain & Performance

Let’s first take a look at the engineering underpinning the Lexus UXh. The powertrain of the new UX 250h is comprised of a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine tethered to the Lexus Hybrid Drive system. These two things work in tandem to deliver a net horsepower output of 181 hp while achieving a combined fuel economy rating of 42 miles per gallon with the front-wheel drive system or 39 mpg with AWD.

As far as what’s new for 2023, Lexus has improved areas like steering response, handling stability and refined ride quality by addressing various aspects of the vehicle. Plus, engineers have reduced the amount of vibration and outside noise inside the vehicle by incorporating Bridgestone 18” run-flat tires.

Connectivity & Entertainment

Another big update for the new model year is the introduction of the new, technologically advanced Lexus Interface Multimedia System. This new, state-of-the-art piece of technology consists of all kinds of great features, including an 8- or 12.3-inch display, wireless charging, a pair of USB charging ports and so much more.
