What’s New: 2024 LC 500 and LC 500h

With its emphasis on driver-centric compact proportions and structural rigidity, the sports coupe is the most performance-focused of all automotive body styles. For Lexus, the highest expression of that body style are the 2024 LC 500 and LC 500h. And soon, you will find the 2024 LC model range in the Lexus of Henderson showroom.
Changes for the 2024 LC 500 coupes are subtle but significant. The most immediately noticeable change for all models is in the interior, where the former 10.3-inch center touchscreen gives way to a 12.3-inch high-definition touchscreen on all models. The infotainment system allows for dual Bluetooth® phone connectivity, with support for standard wireless Apple CarPlay® integration and Android Auto™ compatibility. Making use of the big display is the now standard Panoramic View Monitor, which combines images from the front, rear, left and right-side cameras for a 360-degree view around the vehicle. Also, now standard on every LC model is Intuitive Parking Assist, which will parallel park or back into a perpendicular parking space for you.
Lexus Safety System 2.5+

All LC models also come with the Lexus Safety System 2.5+ suite of safety and driver assist features which adds Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) and Road Sign Assist (RSA) to the existing Lexus Safety System+ features of:
- Pre-Collision System (PCS) with Pedestrian Detection
- All-speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC)
- Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/SA)
- Intelligent High Beams
More Design Choices

Also new is the opulent and unique Dark Rose interior color. New exterior colors include Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0 and Copper Crest. The 2024 LC 500 model lineup also includes the customizable Bespoke Build option, which allows customers to configure their LC with a variety of design components such as 21-inch forged alloy wheels with an all-Black finish, spoiler options, more exterior/interior trim and colors, including a new White and Blue interior, and the availability of a carbon fiber roof. The LC 500 Bespoke Build also features a unique interior badge and includes a certificate of authenticity printed on Japanese washi paper and signed and stamped by LC Chief Engineer Yasushi Muto and Lexus Vice President of Marketing Vinay Shahani.
Flagship Sport Coupe Performance

The LC 500 backs up its aggressive appearance with the thunder of a 5.0-liter V8. It has an output of 471 hp and 398 lb.-ft. of peak torque which, together with the 10-speed Direct-Shift automatic transmission, can deliver 0-to-60 mph in just 4.4 seconds while still providing a manufacturer-estimated 24 mpg on the highway. The naturally aspirated V8 delivers a linear throttle response that can be channeled manually via magnesium paddle shifters. The paddles are particularly useful for keeping the engine in its best rpm range on steep inclines and for controlling engine braking on descents.
Lexus has been bringing hybrid technology to the luxury car arena for close to 20 years, and the LC 500h carries on that tradition in the brand’s most high-performance model range. It combines an Atkinson-cycle 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine with two electric motors for a net system output of 354 horsepower. The motors draw power from a compact, lightweight 84-cell lithium-ion battery tucked behind the rear seats producing 310.8 volts.
The LC 500h features the first-ever Lexus Multistage Hybrid system, which allows for more electric assist at lower vehicle speeds and enables the LC 500h to operate EV-only at speeds of up to 87 mph. The system combines a planetary-type continuously variable transmission with a unique four-speed automatic transmission. Working in concert, the two gearsets alter the output in four stages to utilize the V6 engine across the entire speed range. When set to “M” mode, the two gearsets act together to provide the effect of ten ratios, which the driver can shift through using the paddle shifters. In addition to exhilarating performance, the LC delivers an EPA-estimated rating of 26 city / 33 highway / 29 combined.
Staying Connected
Naturally, the LC 500 models feature the latest in Lexus connectivity, including over-the-air updates. Also on hand is the three-year trial of Drive Connect, which features Intelligent Assistant voice command, Cloud Navigation, and Destination Assist, which offers access to 24/7 live agent assistance.
The entire 2024 LC model lineup, including the 500 and 500h sports coupes together with the LC 500 convertible, represents Lexus engineering at its most passionate. Cars that can raise your heartbeat and conjure a smile every time you get in. Prices start at $98,850, including delivery, processing, and handling fees, and can be expected to arrive at Lexus of Henderson later this year.
