The 2022 NX will include these following new features:

  • The new Lexus Interface multimedia system, bringing a new level of interactivity and infotainment never seen on any Lexus before. The standard touchscreen will be 9.8 inches with an available 14-inch version on higher trim level models. Smartphone integration will be wireless, along with wireless charging – all standard on the new NX.
  • The new Virtual Assistant is designed for occupants to vocally interact with specific controls.
  • The new seven-inch multi-information display in the instrument cluster is augmented by an available 10-inch head-up display – both designed to improve driver engagement on the road.

Lexus continues to be at the forefront of safety with the newly standard Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, plus Blind Spot Monitor. The updated system will be enhanced with these new features:

  • Risk Avoidance Emergency Steer Assist
  • Left Turn Oncoming Vehicle Detection/Braking
  • Right/Left Turn Oncoming Pedestrian Detection/Braking
  • Oncoming Vehicle Detection added to the Pre-Collision System
  • Dynamic Radar Cruise Control with Curve Speed Management
  • Road Sign Assist, an improved Pre-collision System
  • Lane Assistance
  • Intelligent High Beams.

Additionally, Safe Exit Assist and the innovative Digital Latch system are designed to make exiting the vehicle safely even more effortless.

Making a statement from every angle, the NX features new LED illumination that captivates. In addition to offering head-turning three-projector headlamps, the NX now includes an L-shaped lamp on the rear fenders and a sleek full-width blade rear combination lamp that’s constantly illuminated at night--drawing attention to the new LEXUS rear badging.
Accentuating its spacious new cabin design, the NX now offers a panoramic moonroof that provides front and rear passengers with ample natural light or additional airflow at the push of a button.

There are four new models to choose from:

  • NX 250: Powered by a 203-horsepower naturally-aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. This model is made for those looking for better fuel economy and lower maintenance costs, while delivering the level of luxury expected in a Lexus NX.
  • NX 350: Powered by a larger 2.4-liter turbocharged four cylinder engine with an estimated 275 horsepower. The new turbocharged engine is designed to excite the senses and deliver improved performance from the previous NX 300.
  • NX 350h: Powered by an improved 2.5-liter four-cylinder with an electric drive system. Power has been increased to a combined 239 horsepower, while returning an estimated 36 MPG.
  • NX 450h+: The first plug-in driveline offered in a Lexus will combine a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with an electric drive system, providing a mix of efficiency, lower emissions, and overall energy range. You have an estimated 36-mile range driving in pure EV mode. In addition, the Predictive Efficient Drive couples with the navigation system, learns driving habits, predicts the expected roadway ahead and analyzes real-time traffic reports to optimize charging and discharging of the hybrid battery.

The new NX will feature an improved ride and handling. With a lower center of gravity you will have more grip on the road giving you more confidence in all conditions. Yet, the NX does not compromise on comfort, delivering the quiet serenity you expect from a Lexus.

Our focus is helping you keep yours. A new available 10-inch color Head-Up Display projects key information onto the windshield. While the new available Digital Mirror increases your field of vision with a high-definition camera that provides a clear view of obstacles behind the vehicle.
Imagine sharing vehicle access with a friend as easily as sharing a video. The introduction of the Digital Key makes it simple to lock, unlock and start/stop your vehicle and share that access by smartphone with up to seven additional guests registered on the Lexus App.
