New Enhancements Coming For the 2022 Lexus ES

The Lexus ES has defined entry-level luxury for the past 31 years. It continues to be a strong seller for those of us who love luxury within reach.

For 2022, the Lexus ES will be further enhanced for a better driving and ownership experience. These enhancements include updates to infotainment, safety, and design.

First, you now have easier access to the Lexus Multimedia Display. The screen has been moved up by 4.3 inches. In addition to controlling the screen from the Remote Touch Pad or the controls on your steering wheel, the Lexus interface now is touchscreen capable.  This is an enhancement that Lexus’s customers have been asking for and will soon be implemented across the lineup in the years to come.

For enhanced vehicle and occupant safety, the Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 becomes standard on all 2022 ES models. This suite of driver assistance technologies will include a new feature called Intersection Turning Assist. Lexus Safety System will detect an oncoming vehicle when you are about to make a left turn. The result will be a reduction in the number of incidents involving collisions from turns – something we often witness across Southern Nevada.

For better stopping power, all 2022 ES models will receive a more linear braking system with an enhanced master cylinder and booster. The brake pedal will also be larger for better foot control. The enhanced braking system was developed as part of the Lexus Driving Signature, a program to transform our vehicles for a better driving experience overall.

On the 2022 ES 350 and ES 250 AWD F Sport models, you have the option of adding a Dynamic Handling Package. This upgraded package will include Sport+ and Custom Drive modes, Intuitive Parking Assist, and Adaptive Variable Suspension.

Rounding out the updates on the 2022 ES, the exterior will be further enhanced by a set of redesigned bi-LED headlights with standard dynamic headlight auto-leveling. Other exterior updates include new grille textures, wheel designs, and paint colors for 2022.
