Power and Performance Take the Spotlight in the All New 2023 Lexus RX Models

With all new updates, the 2023 Lexus RX 350 is going to continue to be a crowd favorite. Lexus has taken one of their top performing models and taken a step into the future with all new powertrains including three individual hybrid versions.

Fully redesigned interiors and exteriors are a major highlight of this new model year. The 2023 Lexus RX continues the creative engineering that has become a standard for the luxury brand. Inside the cockpit, the design is centered around making it the most comfortable and distraction-free driving experience. A 14-inch full HD touchscreen is the centerpiece of the premium infotainment system which also includes a 21- speaker Mark Levinson PurePlay premium audio system and an expected Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A comfortable cabin with seating for five passengers rounds out the luxurious interior. Front seats feature perforated leather, power-bucket seats with heating and cooling, and memory settings.
The most transformation has taken place in the engines. Four new optimized engines will be replacing the 3.5-liter V6 that has been seen in the previous model year.
The RX 350 model will be equipped with the 275-hp 2.4-liter turbocharged inline-four engine in both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive systems. Expect around 24 MPG in the city for this version.
For customers looking for a hybrid option, the RX 350h is getting a 2.5-liter hybrid powertrain with a combined rear electric motor and 2.5-liter inline-four engine. This bumps the efficiency up to 33 MPG.
The RX 450h+ has the 2.5-liter engine combined with front and rear motors and a 18.1 kWh lithium-ion battery. Output for the plugin hybrid hasn’t been confirmed at this time, but we can expect a similar setup to the already announced 302-hp for the NX450h+ and an estimated range of 37 miles.
Each of these models will have several trim models: Base, Premium, Premium +, Luxury and F Sport Handling.

The brand-new RX 500h F Sport Performance is the top range model and will be the most powerful of the RX lineup. The 2.4-liter turbocharged engine adds two electric motors and can achieve 367-hp and 406 pound-feet of torque. With all that power, it still boasts an estimated 26 MPG.
With their eyes on innovation, Lexus is continuing their legacy of luxury and performance with this all-new model redesign and we can expect to see this fifth generation of the Lexus RX as early as the end of this year. Pricing is expected to start at $46,995* for the base model and will likely hit the $70,000* range for the top RX 500h F Sport Performance Model.
