Train Your Lexus To Recognize Your Voice

You’re stuck in traffic somewhere in Southern Nevada and need to let your clients know where you are. Or, to change the radio station without using the Remote Touch system. It is as simple as pressing a button and speaking to your vehicle.

Lexus offers true voice recognition for your vehicle. It works very simply and does its best to understand you. Through the infotainment system, you can train it to recognize your voice.

Using your voice will access several functions from the infotainment system. On the Remote Touchpad, click on MENU, then SETUP, VOICE, then TRAIN VOICE RECOGNITION. Or, from the steering wheel, click the Talk switch, then on the Remote Touchpad, select VOICE TRAINING.

Once you are on the TRAIN VOICE RECOGNITION start screen, click START and follow the screens. On these screens, you will be asked to say 10 different phrases as prompted. The system will understand your accent or verbal inflection.
