The Lexus LF-Z: An Electrified Look In to The Future

The future of Lexus will be electrified.
By 2025, Lexus will introduce 20 new vehicle models that will be electrified. These new models will include battery-electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids, and hybrids. These electrified vehicles will give Lexus a diversified lineup of models for its customers worldwide – and right here in Southern Nevada.
As a taste of what the future holds, Lexus unveiled the LF-Z Electrified concept.
This concept builds upon a 16-year legacy of electrified vehicles from Lexus. From the 2005 RX 400h, luxury car buyers know where to go for proven technology that yields improved fuel efficiency and lower emissions overall.
The LF-Z takes us to the next step. A step that enables the implementation of the DIRECT4 drive system. A four-wheel-drive control system that showcases where Lexus is leading mobility-wise through this concept.
It is also a look into how an enhanced human-machine connection works. The design of future Lexus models will center on the integration of driver and passenger with its vehicle.
To accomplish all of this, Lexus is establishing a new business and technical center in 2024 that integrates development, design, production technology, and planning departments, to further encourage innovative vehicle development. From there, the future of the luxury vehicle will take hold to arrive at your doorstep before we know it.
